Team experience under sail
A day at sea to see how a group organizes itself: who decides, how people listen to each other, how the team reacts to the unexpected. We sail a Solaris 39 along the coast of Procida, with an instructor certified by the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV).
Briefing, time at sea, debriefing
Before boarding, we agree on goals with you and assign roles. At sea, the group works through maneuvers and exercises led by the FIV instructor. Back ashore, the debriefing looks at what happened and connects it to everyday work.
On board, team dynamics become visible: roles to fill, information to pass on, decisions to make quickly, a shifting wind. It is a concrete way to talk about them away from the office routine.
The experience takes Happy Building’s work on the quality of working relationships out to sea.
